Job Title
• Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical/Tele

Schedule / Job Type
• Night shifts, 3 shifts per week, 12-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities
• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, administer medications, and document care
• Assist in patient admissions, discharges, and transitions within the unit
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans
• Support telemetry monitoring and IV starts as needed

Required Qualifications
• Valid RN license in Indiana (or with active multi-state license) prior to start date
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant nursing experience in a hospital setting
• Ability to work night shifts and adapt to weekend requirements (50% of weekends)
• Successful completion of background check and required certifications (e.g., BLS, ACLS if specified)
• Ability to float between different care levels (Med-Surg, PCU, ICU) if needed

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience in telemetry and IV start procedures
• Prior surgical or cardiovascular unit experience
• Familiarity with hospital electronic medical records and charting systems

• Travel must comply with Tier 2 regulations; candidates must have or submit for appropriate licensure and certifications
• Travelers are expected to work 50% weekends, with flexible floating across care levels
• All candidates must be willing to precept or assist with student shadowing as part of the role
