Key Responsibilities
- Assess and diagnose speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Provide therapy sessions to patients across different age groups.
- Document patient progress and adjust treatment strategies as needed.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain compliance with all regulatory and facility-specific guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- State licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Proven experience in a clinical or healthcare setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience working in a rehabilitation or skilled nursing facility.
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus.
