• Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, full-time, contract

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an acute rehab and telemetry unit with a 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Monitor and respond to telemetry readings, Blood glucose levels, and administer insulin protocols
• Assist with patient mobility, Foley catheter removals, and blood product administration
• Maintain central line care (PICC lines), start and maintain IVs, and perform pulse oximetry assessments
• Conduct fall risk assessments, infection prevention, and adhere to isolation precautions and PPE protocols
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and documentation standards using EPIC electronic charting system

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in Kansas or State Compact license
• Minimum of 2 years recent, full-time specialty experience in IMC, PCU, or stepdown units within the past 12 months
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and 8 weekend shifts every 6 weeks
• BLS certification required
• Knowledge of telemetry monitoring, blood glucose management, IV therapy, and infection control protocols

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in acute rehab hospitals or similar specialized units
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health record system
• Ability to float within scope between departments and facilities as needed
