Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, rotating shifts, 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care to critically ill patients within the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, administer medications, and implement treatment plans as per physicians' orders.
• Support after-hours recovery of post-operative general, pediatric, or obstetric patients as needed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Float to Emergency Department, Medical/Surgical, or Pediatric units as needed based on census.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years ICU nursing experience.
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN).
• Current, unrestricted RN license valid in the United States.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association; PALS and TCAR must be completed within 6 months of hire.
• NIHSS certification must be completed within 6 months of hire.

• Experience working in a rural or diverse community healthcare setting.
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
