Job Title

• Full-time, 12-hour day shifts, travel assignment, 13-week duration

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care to high-risk labor and delivery patients in a busy hospital setting.
• Assist with procedures such as C-sections, inductions, AROM, IUPC, and Doppler assessments.
• Monitor patients using advanced equipment including Alaris pumps, PCA pumps, telemetry, and monitors.
• Collaborate with an experienced team of nurses and staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Support the hospital’s new OB Hospitalist program and participate in team nursing approaches.
• Maintain compliance with unit policies and protocols, including oxytocin administration and high-risk patient management.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent labor and delivery nursing experience.
• Proven experience circulating C-sections.
• Demonstrated ability to manage high-risk obstetric cases.
• Current RN license in the state of Kansas.
• Basic proficiency with EMR systems such as Meditech and CPN Gold.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• More than 2 years of labor and delivery experience.
• Experience with high-risk pregnancies and labor management.
• Knowledge of the hospital’s new OB Hospitalist program.
• Flexibility and strong teamwork orientation.
