Job Title

Schedule / Job Type

• Travel, full-time, days shift, 36 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care on a 42-bed Cardiac Telemetry unit, focusing on cardiac patients with conditions such as chest pain, arrhythmias, shortness of breath, and palpitations.
• Floats to other units and hospitals as needed to support staffing needs.
• Monitors and manages various medical conditions including pneumonia, GI issues, COPD, diabetes, and stroke, as well as surgical patients.
• Collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care aimed at optimal outcomes.
• Adheres to hospital policies, infection control protocols, and safety standards.

Required Qualifications

• Registered Nurse license in Alabama or a compact state (no temporary licenses accepted)
• BLS certification (American Heart Association or Red Cross)
• Minimum of 2 years’ RN experience, or at least 18 months with high-level licensure and one recent year in a relevant specialty.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in cardiac telemetry or similar medical-surgical units preferred.
• Ability to float between units and adapt to various patient care needs.
