Registered Nurse - Dialysis
Location: Tuscaloosa, AL
Schedule / Job Type: Travel, full-time, 13-week assignment, days shift (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide dialysis nursing care for patients in a hospital setting, including bedside and peritoneal dialysis.
- Float to other units and hospitals as needed.
- Prepare and perform dialysis treatments following established protocols.
- Communicate clearly with patients and healthcare team members.
- Document patient care accurately in the electronic medical record system.
- Adhere to safety and infection control standards.
Required Qualifications:
- Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher.
- Valid Registered Nurse license for the State of Alabama or a compact license.
- AHA BLS or Red Cross CPR certification.
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience, including at least 1 recent year in dialysis.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English clearly.
Preferred Experience / Skills:
- Professional Nursing Certification in dialysis or related specialty.
- Experience working with Meditech EMR system.
- Flexibility to float to various units and hospitals.
