Job Title

• Contract, Travel, 12-hour Night shifts, 13-week assignment, onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care to ICU patients in a high-acuity environment.
• Monitor patient conditions and respond quickly to medical emergencies.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Document patient care activities accurately in Meditech system.
• Adhere to unit-specific procedures, including intubations, central lines, and chest tube management.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies on dress code, safety, and certifications.

Required Qualifications

• Active Texas RN license (temporary licenses not accepted).
• Minimum of 2 years ICU experience, with strong critical thinking skills.
• Current ACLS, BLS, NIH Stroke Certification.
• Ability to work night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM).
• Experience with Meditech preferred.
• Bilingual skills or additional certifications are a plus.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Background in MICU or MSICU units.
• Exposure to IABP and CRRT therapies.
• Knowledge of medical procedures such as intubations, central and arterial lines.
