Job Title
• Tech - Polysomnographer / Sleep Tech
Location
• Eureka, CA
Schedule / Job Type
• Night shift (3x12-hour shifts per week)
Key Responsibilities
• Manage sleep studies for a backlog of over 300 patients, including scoring and resulting approximately 100 studies.
• Assist with educational support related to sleep study scoring during patient procedures.
• Floar between hospital and affiliate facilities as needed, including coverage during holidays.
• Ensure compliance with travel, licensing, and certification requirements.
• Complete necessary modules and documentation as part of ongoing training.
Required Qualifications
• Valid California Sleep Tech or Polysomnographer license.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience in sleep studies or a similar setting.
• Experience in charting, preferably with Epic or equivalent systems.
• Ability to work night shifts with flexible holiday availability.
• Must have or be willing to obtain specific certifications as required.
• Must meet local radius rule within 50 miles of Eureka, CA.
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Previous experience in hospital or sleep lab environments.
• Familiarity with sleep study scoring and education tools.
• Ability to float between different facilities as needed.
• Strong references from supervisory roles covering recent years.
