Job Title
• Registered Nurse - Orthopedic

Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, Night shifts (4x12 hours)

Key Responsibilities
• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients on a 38-bed orthopedic unit.
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions using Cerner charting system.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and manage PICC lines as needed.
• Float within hospital departments to meet facility staffing needs.
• Ensure compliance with all hospital policies, safety protocols, and patient care standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient treatment plans.

Required Qualifications
• Minimum of 2 years’ nursing experience, preferably in acute care or telemetry.
• Valid IL RN license in hand at time of submission.
• BLS certification is required; ACLS strongly preferred.
• Experience with IV therapy, phlebotomy, and PICC line management.
• Ability to work nights, weekends (every other weekend), and holidays as required.

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Previous travel nursing experience.
• Cerner charting system proficiency.
• Telemetry experience.
• Red Cross or approved AHA certifications.
