Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, mid-shift (11AM-11PM or 1PM-1AM) with rotating shifts, working approximately 36 hours per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide emergency care to patients in a fast-paced hospital environment
- Assess and prioritize patient needs in urgent situations
- Administer treatments, medication, and interventions as prescribed
- Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure quality patient outcomes
- Document patient information accurately and thoroughly
- Work every other weekend to maintain shift coverage
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN licensure in the state of Vermont
- 3-5 years of experience in emergency room nursing
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts and rotating schedules
- Strong critical thinking and communication skills
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in a rural or critical access hospital setting
- Knowledge of emergency procedures and protocols
- Bilingual skills a plus
