Key Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of diagnostic imaging examinations in all modalities, with proficiency in CT scans under general supervision.
• Position patients accurately to obtain optimal imaging results, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Operate radiology and CT equipment in accordance with federal and state regulations, as well as hospital policies.
• Maintain proper documentation, records, and supplies; ensure equipment is functioning correctly and report any issues.
• Provide care appropriate to patients of all ages, observing safety protocols and assessing for signs of distress or abnormal behavior.
• Assist with patient scheduling, answer phones, and support departmental operations as needed.
• React quickly and effectively in emergency situations or equipment breakdowns.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiology program with an Associate of Science Degree.
• Current California Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) license.
• BLS certification required.
• Ability to perform imaging procedures independently with minimal supervision.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ARRT certification preferred.
• At least two years of experience in an acute care setting.
• Experience in at least two imaging modalities, including CT.
• Previous work in a freestanding diagnostic imaging facility is a plus.
