Key Responsibilities

• Provide bedside care to patients in the cardiovascular operating room, including scrubbing and circulating for complex open and endovascular cases such as FEVAR, EVAR, TCAR, TEVAR, Open AAA, Thrombectomy, and AV fistulas.
• Work 3 days per week, 12-hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM, scheduled Monday through Friday.
• Participate in on-call duties, averaging 5-8 calls per month, including weekends and holidays.
• Float to similar units as needed, covering various vascular procedures.
• Adhere to hospital and procedural protocols, ensuring patient safety and high-quality care.
• Maintain proper certification and licenses, including BLS, ACLS, and radiation badges.

Required Qualifications

• Valid South Carolina or multi-state RN license (must be in hand at start).
• Minimum 2 years of vascular OR experience, with proficiency in scrubbing and circulating complex cases.
• Certifications: BLS and ACLS (must be AHA).
• Radiation badge (to be provided by the agency).
• Ability to work independently and adapt to float assignments.
• Must pass hospital-specific credentialing and compliance checks.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience within a Level I Trauma Center or teaching hospital.
• Familiarity with EPIC charting system.
• Experience with managing emergency and complex vascular cases.
• Knowledge of hospital procedures during hurricane season and emergency response.
