- Full-time, Days shifts, 3 shifts per week, 12-hour shifts
Key Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory therapy care to pediatric patients in a Level II Pediatric Trauma Center
- Float between units as needed, primarily in PICU and NICU settings
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient treatment plans
- Monitor patient response to therapy and adjust treatments accordingly
- Document patient assessments and treatment details accurately
- Ensure compliance with all safety and clinical protocols
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of Respiratory Therapy experience, pediatrics preferred
- Valid State Respiratory Therapist license; compact license accepted
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including every other weekend and holidays as required
- Must be within 50 miles of Lubbock, TX
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in PICU and NICU settings
- Prior experience working in a pediatric hospital or trauma center
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
