Job Title

• Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab/EP

• El Paso, TX

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, 13-week contract, days to be worked Monday through Friday, 8.5-hour shifts, with on-call requirements (rotating weekends)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab and Electrophysiology (EP) Lab
• Assist with procedures such as cardiac diagnostics, PCI, Impella, peripheral vascular angiogram/angioplasty, and electrophysiology studies
• Monitor patient vitals and respond to emergent situations during complex cardiac procedures
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and safety
• Follow unit policies, guidelines, and dress code requirements, including wearing royal blue scrubs
• Participate in on-call rotations and support staff as needed during shifts

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN licensure in the state of Texas
• ACLS and BLS certifications
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a registered nurse, preferably in a cath lab or cardiovascular setting

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience with cardiac procedures such as PCI, Impella, IABP, thrombectomy, or device implantations
• Knowledge of Meditech EMR system
• Strong teamwork and communication skills in a fast-paced environment
