Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and implement patient care for oncology patients, ensuring safety and quality standards are met.
• Administer chemotherapy and other medications following protocols and safety guidelines.
• Monitor patient responses to treatments and communicate findings to the healthcare team.
• Collaborate with physicians, staff, and families to provide compassionate and effective care.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities and treatment plans.
• Adhere to hospital policies and procedures, including safety and infection control protocols.

Required Qualifications

• Current New Mexico RN license or valid Compact state license.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
• ACLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
• NRP certification.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Minimum of 1 year of recent oncology nursing experience.
• Knowledge of chemotherapy administration and oncology care protocols.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to respond effectively in emergency situations.
