• Full-time, Night shifts (3x12-hour shifts)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care to a diverse medical-surgical patient population, including orthopedic, post-surgical, and medical patients.
• Monitor telemetry when applicable and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes.
• Work as a Charge Nurse and float to various units as needed, ensuring quality care throughout shifts.
• Adhere to hospital policies, including punctuality and compliance deadlines, including EKG pass/fail requirements.
• Document patient information accurately and maintain compliance with education and background check requirements.
• Cover every other weekend shifts and participate in physical therapy support for relevant patients.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in the state of North Carolina.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical RN experience, including prior travel experience.
• Experience working night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) and working as a Charge Nurse.
• BLS certification required.
• EPIC electronic medical record system experience.
• Ability to pass the Pass/Fail EKG exam (up to 2 attempts).
• Education verified through a third-party source.
• No open background check cases.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior float or resource nurse experience across multiple units.
• Experience caring for orthopedic, geriatric, or post-surgical patients.
• Strong adaptability to float and shift flexibility.
