Job Title

Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, Days shift, 8 hours per shift, 1 shift per week

Key Responsibilities
• Administer radiation therapy using Varian Linear Accelerator (True Beam)
• Prepare treatment room and equipment according to prescription, including immobilization devices and treatment parameters
• Explain treatment procedures to patients, including communication protocols and handling potential issues during treatment
• Monitor patient safety and comfort throughout treatment sessions
• Perform CT simulation procedures accurately and efficiently
• Maintain detailed and complete patient records and documentation in required systems
• Ensure compliance with radiation safety measures for patients and staff
• Conduct safety checks on equipment and report issues promptly
• Observe and assess patients for skin changes or side effects, communicate with physicians as needed
• Perform departmental clerical duties to support operational efficiency

Required Qualifications
• Graduate of an approved Radiation Therapy program
• Current registration as a Radiation Therapist (RTT) with ARRT (T)
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification per American Heart Association standards, renewed biennially
• Knowledge of radiation safety protocols and documentation procedures

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Prior experience with Varian Linear Accelerators and CT simulation
• Strong patient communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
