- Full-time, Days shift, approximately 10 hours per shift, 4 shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Director in achieving departmental and organizational goals.
- Serve as a Charge Nurse, coordinating and directing nursing care for an assigned group of residents during each shift.
- Provide assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of resident care.
- Support quality management activities and act as a resource for nursing staff.
- Participate in resident and family education and work collaboratively with the healthcare team.
- Ensure resident privacy and confidentiality are maintained at all times.
- Offer administrative backup in the absence of the Director.
Required Qualifications
- Active State of Maine or Compact RN license.
- BLS certification.
- Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN or equivalent).
- Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facilities.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
