Job Title

• Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, day shifts, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week, 15-week assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care in a fast-paced Emergency Room environment within a 28-bed department
• Monitor and assess trauma bays, behavioral health rooms, and cardiac monitor rooms
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient care and safety
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes
• Adhere to emergency protocols and maintain certifications required for clinical excellence

Required Qualifications

• Current Hawaii State Registered Nurse license (candidates must have license prior to start; active license required at start of assignment)
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• Ability to apply for Hawaii license if not currently licensed
• Must possess Hawaii license by start date

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in emergency or trauma settings
• Additional certifications such as Procedural Sedation, TMCC, or EMPC (preferred but not required)
• Ability to thrive in a team-oriented, high-paced environment
