• Full-time, Night shift (12 hours)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care to medical-surgical and oncology patients in a hospital setting.
• Administer chemotherapy, biotherapy, and other IV medications safely.
• Monitor and manage patients with complex diagnoses such as sepsis, cancer, and other critical conditions.
• Assist with wound care, wound Vac management, and various specialized procedures.
• Float as needed to similar units or alternate care locations within the hospital.
• Comply with all safety protocols, including isolation precautions and airway management.

Required Qualifications

• Current NC or Compact nursing license.
• At least 2 years of recent inpatient medical-surgical experience.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in an oncology setting or recent oncology-certified RN.
• Ability to administer chemotherapy and biotherapy.
• Must pass EKG testing prior to start.
• BLS certification required; Oncology Certification (OCN) preferred.
• Experience with EMR systems such as EPIC and medication systems like PYXIS.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• CPI certification.
• Charge nurse or leadership experience.
• Experience with central lines, PICC lines, and blood product administration.
• Ability to float within hospital or to nearby facilities as needed.
