Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, Mids Shift, 8.5-hour shifts
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive health assessments for incarcerated individuals within a correctional facility
- Draw blood and perform clinical procedures as needed
- Provide nursing care while adhering to security protocols and facility policies
- Collaborate with clinical and security staff to ensure safe and effective patient care
- Float to other facilities as required to support staffing needs
- Work every other weekend and follow scheduled shift times from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Experience performing assessments in a healthcare setting
- Ability to draw blood and perform clinical procedures
- Willingness to float to other correctional facilities as needed
- Capable of working evening shifts and every other weekend
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior correctional or forensic nursing experience (preferred but not required)
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in high-pressure environments
