Schedule / Job Type

• Night shifts, 3x12 hours (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), full-time, temporary

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care in the Labor and Delivery unit, working independently to support patient needs.
• Manage expectant and new mothers, ensuring safe delivery and postpartum care.
• Float between units as needed based on facility requirements.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Adhere to facility protocols and compliance standards, including on-call and holiday work as scheduled.
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with patients and staff.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of labor and delivery nursing experience.
• Valid state license (compact license accepted).
• Ability to work independently and handle high-pressure situations.
• Must be within a 50-mile radius of the facility.
• Current BLS and any additional relevant certifications.
• Willingness to work night shifts and holiday rotations.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a Level IV trauma short-term acute care facility.
• Familiarity with mom/baby and transition nursing is a plus but not mandatory.
• Ability to float between units and work collaboratively across departments.
