- Travel, 13 weeks, night shifts
Key Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory therapy care to adult and pediatric patients in a hospital setting, including ventilator management, airway clearance, and nebulizer treatments
- Monitor patient status using various equipment such as servo ventilators, Vapotherm, and HFNC devices
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient treatment plans
- Document patient care activities accurately in electronic medical records
- Assist with procedures like ABGs and airway management
- Adhere to unit policies and safety protocols, including dress code and on-call requirements
Required Qualifications
- CRT or RRT certification
- Texas RCP license
- BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS certifications
- 6 months to 1 year PICU or Level 3/4 NICU experience
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with PICU or NICU respiratory procedures
- Ability to work flexible shifts and participate in weekend/on-call rotations
- Strong team-player attitude and adaptability
