Key Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient physical therapy assistance under supervision, following treatment plans.
- Attend daily stand-up meetings at 8:30 AM Monday through Friday.
- Document patient progress using Wellsky charting system.
- Travel within a 50-mile radius of the facility, supporting home health visits.
- Adhere to professional dress code, wearing clean scrubs and closed-toe shoes.
- Support patient care with ratios of 6-7 patients, with weekly mileage expectations of 100-120 miles.
Required Qualifications
- Valid certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA).
- Minimum of 5 years home health experience.
- Recent completion of a travel assignment in home care.
- BLS and First Aid certifications.
- COVID vaccination and booster required.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with outpatient therapy settings.
- Familiarity with Wellsky or similar charting applications.
- Ability to support travel within the specified radius and meet mileage expectations.
