- Full-time, 12-hour night shifts, rotating weekends
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care to patients in the emergency room setting.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care based on individual needs.
- Collaborate with medical team to ensure prompt and effective patient treatment.
- Document patient care and interventions accurately in medical records.
- Follow all safety, compliance, and regulatory guidelines.
- Assist in emergency procedures and respond to urgent patient needs.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Current nursing license in the State of Illinois
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification
- Ability to work night shifts and rotating weekends
Preferred Experience / Skills
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification is a plus
- Previous emergency room nursing experience is preferred
