Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized care to pediatric patients in a busy Cardiovascular Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (CVPICU).
• Manage patients with congenital heart disease, post-surgical care, and complex medical diagnoses.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver ventilatory, cardiac, ECMO/CRRT support, and other complex therapies.
• Ensure adherence to clinical protocols, including monitoring, medication administration, and documentation in EPIC.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort during long night shifts and respond effectively to emergencies.
• Participate in weekend and holiday rotations as scheduled.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of Pediatric CVICU experience, including cardiac surgery, ventricular assist devices, or transplant.
• Valid SC or multi-state/compact RN license.
• Current BLS and PALS certifications recognized by AHA.
• Knowledge of pediatric and cardiac care procedures.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Ventricular Assist Device (VAD) experience.
• Experience with pediatric ECMO or CRRT therapies.
• Prior experience in a Magnet designated or award-winning healthcare facility.

Additional Details

• Shift: 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• RTO must be approved at the time of submission; no post-submission RTO requests accepted.
• Travel candidates must have SC RN license in hand or proof of application.
• Locals within 60 miles considered at a reduced rate.
• COVID-19 vaccination or testing policies may apply.
