Schedule / Job Type
- Travel, Night shifts, 13-week assignment, 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM, 3 shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory therapy care to adult patients in a high-volume hospital setting.
- Operate and monitor advanced respiratory equipment, including GE R860 vents, Draeger infant/Peds vents, and other high-flow oxygen devices.
- Perform all necessary respiratory procedures and interventions, adhering to hospital policies and safety standards.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient-specific respiratory plans.
- Maintain accurate documentation within the electronic medical record system.
- Support critical care units and float to various floors as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Valid North Carolina Respiratory License
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
Preferred Experience / Skills
- NRP certification
- ACLS and ACCS credentials
- Previous experience in a Level II trauma or critical care environment
