Schedule / Job Type

• Full-Time, Night shifts (3x12s), 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, scheduled three nights per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult and geriatric patients on a busy orthopedic unit
• Monitor patients using telemetry and assist with post-surgical recovery, including orthopedic and total joint replacement cases
• Collaborate with physical therapists to facilitate patient mobility and discharge planning
• Ensure patient safety and compliance with hospital policies, including adherence to pass/fail EKG examinations
• Float to other Cone Health campuses as needed and perform duties of a Charge RN as assigned
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow infection control protocols

Required Qualifications

• Valid nursing license in the State of North Carolina
• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in an orthopedic or medical-surgical setting
• BLS certification required
• Experience with EPIC electronic health record system
• Charge nurse experience preferred

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Telemetry monitoring experience
• Ability to handle high patient volumes and adapt to float requirements
• Previous travel nursing experience is acceptable and encouraged
