• Full-time, 80 hours per pay period; 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, Days shift

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and treat speech, language, and swallowing disorders to improve communication and safe swallowing abilities.
• Complete patient documentation including evaluations, care plans, progress, and discharge reports.
• Contact insurance companies regarding benefits.
• Prepare for evaluation and treatment sessions.
• Educate healthcare staff on evaluation results and recommendations, providing current research insights.
• Create in-service presentations and educational opportunities for staff.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to deliver patient-centered care.
• Clean treatment rooms after sessions.
• Provide reminder calls to patients and assist patients and families in navigating hospital services.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Professional degree in speech-language pathology (Master’s degree from an accredited program).
• Eligible and maintain valid Speech-Language Pathologist license in Wisconsin.
• Current and valid driver’s license.
• BLS certification.
• 1+ years of related work experience preferred.
• Knowledge and proficiency with computers.
• Strong assessment, planning, and analytical skills.
• Excellent interpersonal communication and problem-solving abilities.
