- Full-time, 80 hours per pay period; 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, Days shift
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and treat speech, language, and swallowing disorders to improve communication and safe swallowing abilities.
- Complete patient documentation including evaluations, care plans, progress, and discharge reports.
- Contact insurance companies regarding benefits.
- Prepare for evaluation and treatment sessions.
- Educate healthcare staff on evaluation results and recommendations, providing current research insights.
- Create in-service presentations and educational opportunities for staff.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to deliver patient-centered care.
- Clean treatment rooms after sessions.
- Provide reminder calls to patients and assist patients and families in navigating hospital services.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Professional degree in speech-language pathology (Master’s degree from an accredited program).
- Eligible and maintain valid Speech-Language Pathologist license in Wisconsin.
- Current and valid driver’s license.
- BLS certification.
- 1+ years of related work experience preferred.
- Knowledge and proficiency with computers.
- Strong assessment, planning, and analytical skills.
- Excellent interpersonal communication and problem-solving abilities.
