Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in an Interventional Radiology (IR) unit, supporting adult and geriatric patient populations.
• Assist with complex procedures such as Angiogram, Fistulogram, Permacath, EVAR, TCAR, TAVR, MitraClip, Mechanical Thrombectomy, and Embolization.
• Collaborate with medical staff to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes during specialized procedures.
• Adhere to established protocols and maintain accurate documentation using Cerner charting system.
• Participate in on-call rotations, including every fifth weekend and rotation-based call duties.
• Support a fast-paced, trauma-level IV care environment within a major teaching hospital.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience, preferably in Interventional Radiology or similar specialty.
• Current WV or Compact RN license (pending license acceptance considered).
• Active BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
• Ability to work 10-hour day shifts with a flexible schedule, including on-call responsibilities.
• Must have a current Driver's License and social security number for onboarding.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with specialized IR procedures such as EVAR, TAVR, or similar interventions.
• Familiarity with Cerner charting system.
• Strong patient assessment skills for adult and geriatric populations.
• Previous experience working in a Level IV Trauma Center.
