Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct physical therapy interventions under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
- Evaluate, plan, and administer treatments to residents and patients with various disabilities to improve function and promote healing.
- Record treatments performed and track patient progress in medical records.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on treatment plans and therapeutic exercises.
- Monitor patient responses and adjust treatments as necessary, ensuring adherence to established care plans.
- Complete all required documentation following company policies and regulatory standards.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree from a CAPTE-accredited PTA program.
- Certification from the National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE) for PTAs.
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to follow instructions from a licensed Physical Therapist.
- Empathy, patience, and physical stamina for patient care.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- New graduates are welcome to apply.
- Prior experience working with rehabilitation equipment, including lite gait systems, power mat tables, and virtual reality systems is a plus.
- Experience working in a supportive team environment.
