Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct physical therapy interventions under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Evaluate, plan, and administer treatments to residents and patients with various disabilities to improve function and promote healing.
• Record treatments performed and track patient progress in medical records.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers on treatment plans and therapeutic exercises.
• Monitor patient responses and adjust treatments as necessary, ensuring adherence to established care plans.
• Complete all required documentation following company policies and regulatory standards.

Required Qualifications

• Associate degree from a CAPTE-accredited PTA program.
• Certification from the National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE) for PTAs.
• Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow instructions from a licensed Physical Therapist.
• Empathy, patience, and physical stamina for patient care.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• New graduates are welcome to apply.
• Prior experience working with rehabilitation equipment, including lite gait systems, power mat tables, and virtual reality systems is a plus.
• Experience working in a supportive team environment.
