Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct and indirect patient care in the emergency care setting, demonstrating initiative, flexibility, and professional responsibility
- Perform rapid, accurate triage based on physical, psychosocial needs, and factors affecting patient flow
- Communicate effectively with ER physicians, mid-level providers, and the healthcare team regarding patient status, symptoms, and diagnostic results
- Respond promptly to changes in patient condition or response to treatment
- Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare professionals, providing direction to ER technicians and support staff
Required Qualifications
- Degree from an accredited nursing program
- Current Montana RN license
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and ENPC certifications or obtain within 6 months of hire
- Minimum of 2 years ER nursing experience
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
- Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) certification
