Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to medical/surgical and ICU patients requiring advanced monitoring and ventilatory support.
• Operate and manage advanced medical equipment, including A-lines, invasive lines, chest tubes, and IV pumps.
• Assess patient needs, interpret assessments, and implement care plans with minimal supervision.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members, including physicians, charge nurses, and support staff.
• Assist in patient discharge planning and coordinate care to ensure smooth transitions.
• Act as a clinical leader and support staff education and precepting as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Current Montana RN licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
• Experience in an acute medical/surgical unit and recent critical care nursing preferred.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Certifications such as PALS, TNCC, or EPNC are a plus.
• Proficiency with advanced medical equipment and critical care procedures.
