- Night shifts, 3x12 hours (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), full-time
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care in the Pediatric Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVPICU).
- Monitor and assess pediatric patients with cardiovascular conditions, ensuring optimal care and safety.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Document patient progress accurately and maintain detailed clinical records.
- Respond quickly to emergencies and changing patient conditions in a high-acuity environment.
- Comply with hospital policies and safety protocols related to pediatric critical care.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of recent pediatric nursing experience, specifically in ICU settings.
- Active RN license in the state or a valid compact license.
- Experience working with pediatric populations, including trauma care preferred.
- Ability to work night shifts and adapt to a demanding, fast-paced environment.
- Must meet all travel compliance requirements per facility standards.
- No pending license candidates accepted; all must be in compliance with NLC guidelines.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- BSN degree preferred.
- Familiarity with Cerner electronic health records.
- Previous travel nursing experience in pediatric critical care.
