Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care in the Pediatric Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVPICU).
• Monitor and assess pediatric patients with cardiovascular conditions, ensuring optimal care and safety.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Document patient progress accurately and maintain detailed clinical records.
• Respond quickly to emergencies and changing patient conditions in a high-acuity environment.
• Comply with hospital policies and safety protocols related to pediatric critical care.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of recent pediatric nursing experience, specifically in ICU settings.
• Active RN license in the state or a valid compact license.
• Experience working with pediatric populations, including trauma care preferred.
• Ability to work night shifts and adapt to a demanding, fast-paced environment.
• Must meet all travel compliance requirements per facility standards.
• No pending license candidates accepted; all must be in compliance with NLC guidelines.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• BSN degree preferred.
• Familiarity with Cerner electronic health records.
• Previous travel nursing experience in pediatric critical care.
