• Travel, 13-week assignment, night shifts
Key Responsibilities
• Perform MRI procedures including neuro, abdominal, and MSK exams with a focus on patient safety and comfort.
• Operate advanced imaging equipment such as GE Explorer Lift Signa 1.5T and new GE 30X technology upon project completion.
• Collaborate with radiologists and clinical staff to ensure quality imaging and accurate results.
• Adhere to departmental protocols, safety guidelines, and unit policies to maintain a safe environment.
• Provide excellent patient care, demonstrating professionalism and effective communication.
• Maintain accurate documentation within the Meditech EMR system.
Required Qualifications
• Valid MRI technologist license or certification (specific licensing requirements will be verified during screening).
• Ability to work independently with radiologist support as needed.
• At least 1 year of MRI technologist experience.
• Must be willing to work night shifts, including weekends and holidays as per hospital rotation.
• Strong patient care skills and safety awareness.
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience with neuro, abdominal, and MSK MRI exams.
• Familiarity with GE imaging systems and protocols.
• Adaptability to new procedures and technology upgrades.
• Friendly personality with excellent communication skills.
