- Travel, Night shifts (6:45 PM - 7:15 AM), 13-week assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care to pediatric patients in the Intensive Care Unit (PICU)
- Monitor patient hemodynamics and ventilator management using Alaris pumps and Cerner documentation system
- Perform medical procedures including IV starts, catheterizations, central line dressings, ICP monitoring, and trach care
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure high-quality patient outcomes
- Float to Peds and NICU units as needed, adhering to hospital policies and procedures
- Maintain compliance with unit-specific guidelines and safety standards
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
- Minimum of 2 years PICU experience
- Ability to work Night shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)
- Proficient in pediatric nursing procedures and equipment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with hemodynamic monitoring, ventilator management, and pediatric trauma care
- Ability to self-schedule and adapt to floating between units
- Strong clinical skills in pediatric critical care environments
