• Full-time, Dayshift, 3x12-Hour Shifts per Week
Key Responsibilities
• Assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures in the Cath Lab and electrophysiology suite
• Prepare and set up equipment, monitor patient status, and ensure safety during procedures
• Support procedural team with equipment sterilization, lead placement, and vascular access
• Recognize and respond to life-threatening arrhythmias and emergencies with appropriate interventions
• Maintain sterile field and assist with vascular closure procedures, including the use of closure devices
• Document procedures accurately within EPIC and McKesson systems
Required Qualifications
• Certification as a Cardiovascular Technologist or equivalent (e.g., RCIS)
• Proven experience supporting diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures in a Cath Lab setting
• Knowledge of fluoroscopy equipment, including Siemens systems
• Ability to respond within 30 minutes for on-call procedures as required
• Familiarity with medication systems such as Pyxis
• Understanding and application of infection control and isolation precautions
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Prior experience working in electrophysiology labs or with advanced cardiac devices such as Impella or ventricular assist devices
• Knowledge of additional procedures like TAVI/TAVR and Watchman device support
• Experience with Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) and Pulmonary Artery line insertion
