Key Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care in a fast-paced, level trauma, teaching hospital environment.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care according to ER protocols.
• Ensure accurate patient charting within Epic Electronic Medical Record system.
• Float within scope to multiple hospital campuses (Martin North, South, and Tradition) as needed.
• Complete all required modules and certifications promptly to maintain compliance.
• Adhere to hospital policies, including strict nicotine-free and drug screening requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of ER nursing experience.
• Valid Florida nursing license (pending licenses accepted).
• Current certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS (must be current at submission).
• NIHSS certification before start date.
• Epic experience at a level 3 or 4.
• Ability to work a 12-hour evening shift.
• Successful completion of EKG and pharmacy tests during orientation (maximum 2 attempts each).

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience in a teaching or trauma hospital setting.
• Comfortable working in a high-volume emergency department with time-sensitive modules.
