- Full-time, night shifts, 12-hour shifts, rotating schedule
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care for patients in IMC, PCU, and stepdown units, including postoperative and post-critical care
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, administer medications, and manage IV therapies
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Maintain accurate documentation using electronic health records (Epic)
- Ensure compliance with infection prevention protocols and patient safety standards
- Respond to oncologic emergencies such as cytokine release syndrome and manage complex procedures like chemotherapy and blood transfusions
Required Qualifications
- Active Ohio or Compact nursing license matching the specialty
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a similar setting
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Ability to perform specialized procedures including chemo administration, transfusions, and IV antibiotic therapy
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Oncology nursing experience and familiarity with oncologic emergency protocols
- ONS Chemotherapy certification
- Experience with EPIC or other electronic health record systems

Additional Details
- Shift: Nights, 12 hours per shift, 3 shifts per week
- Orientation: First week on days, followed by on-unit training with a preceptor
- Travel compliance and fingerprinting process are strictly enforced for timely onboarding
- Candidates outside Ohio or within driving distance must complete fingerprinting promptly upon booking
- References: Two professional references, including one from a supervisory or leadership role
- RTO (Time Off Request): Must be communicated at submission and built into the contract
