Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery
Location: Lexington, NE
Schedule / Job Type: 13-week contract, Night shifts, 3x12-hour shifts per week (Sunday to Saturday)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to labor and delivery patients, ensuring a safe and supportive environment.
- Assist with all OB responsibilities including labor, postpartum, and well-baby care.
- Float between OB, labor and delivery, and medical-surgical units as needed for a small, critical access facility.
- Chart patient information using Cerner and FetalLink systems.
- Adhere to facility policies regarding scrubs and certification requirements.
- Follow call-off policies with minimal penalties during the contract period.
Required Qualifications:
- Current BLS (AHA) certification.
- NRP certification.
- Prior travel nursing experience.
- Flexibility to float between departments and perform multiple duties.
Preferred Experience / Skills:
- AWHONN certification.
- STABLE and ACLS (AHA) certifications.
- Experience with Cerner and FetalLink charting systems.
