- Full-time, day shift, 12-hour shifts (6 a.m. – 6 p.m.)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care within a 36-bed ICU, including Neuro, Cardiac, and Medical-Surgical units.
- Utilize EPIC electronic charting system to document patient care accurately.
- Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Float as needed to various ICU units based on staffing requirements and patient acuity.
- Maintain compliance with licensing and certification standards, including BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Illinois State Nursing License.
- Minimum of 2+ years of ICU experience with proficiency in EPIC charting.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a high-acuity ICU setting.
- Prior experience with neuro, cardiac, or medical-surgical intensive care units.
- Ability to adapt to flexible floating requirements and varied patient acuity levels.
