Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care to ICU patients in a busy hospital environment.
• Perform procedures such as central line, chest tube, arterial line insertions, and percutaneous tracheostomies.
• Monitor and operate advanced equipment including Camino ICP, CRRT, EVD, wound vacs, and arterial/CVC lines.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Adhere to unit policies, including weekend and on-call requirements, and maintain compliance with safety and clinical standards.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license with at least 2 years of ICU experience.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Experience in trauma and/or surgical ICU settings.
• Ability to perform advanced procedures such as central line insertion and tracheostomies.
• TNCC and ATCN certifications are preferred.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Background in trauma or surgical ICU units.
• Experience with EMR systems, specifically Cerner.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
