Therapist - Respiratory Therapist

Location: Charleston, SC

Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, Night shifts (3x12 hours per week)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide adult critical care respiratory therapy in a high-acuity hospital setting.
• Work night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) with rotating weekends and holidays as needed.
• Float between service lines, including ICU, step-down, and floor care, adhering to hospital policies and equipment standards.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver quality patient care in a magnet, teaching, Level 1 trauma facility.
• Maintain documentation and charting in Epic and Cerner systems.

Required Qualifications:

• Active South Carolina RRT license (must be in hand at start).
• BLS and NBRC certifications required.
• Minimum 1 year of adult critical care experience.
• Ability to work in high-acuity environments such as ICU, step-down, and hospital floors.
• Experience with Epic and Cerner EHR systems preferred.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Previous experience in a teaching hospital or Level 1 trauma center.
• Flexibility to work a block schedule and float to sister facilities as needed.
• Knowledge of radiation badge policies not required.
