• Days shift, 12.5-hour shifts, 3 days per week, travel assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to ER patients in a fast-paced environment.
• Assist in triage, patient monitoring, and documentation within the emergency department.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure patient safety and satisfaction.
• Utilize advanced skills to perform procedures and respond to urgent patient needs.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, including documentation and safety protocols.

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in North Carolina or the ability to obtain reciprocity.
• Minimum of 2 years' recent experience as an ER nurse in a high-volume setting.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to adapt to different areas of the ED.
• Ability to work rotating shifts, including days, with flexibility for additional coverage if needed.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a Level 2 trauma center or comprehensive stroke center.
• Previous employment in a high-volume ER with over 100,000 annual visits.
• Experience with electronic health records such as Cerner.
• Bilingual skills or experience serving diverse patient populations preferred.
