Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, 13-week travel assignment
• Night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care in a high-acuity Emergency Department setting
• Triage and prioritize patients based on ESI guidelines, managing diverse critical cases such as stroke, STEMI, and sepsis
• Perform procedures including IV insertion, medication administration, EKGs, splinting, and wound care
• Assist with advanced procedures like intubation, CPR, and moderate sedation
• Collaborate with medical team to coordinate patient care and transport to higher levels of care when necessary
• Document accurately and perform reassessment in a fast-paced environment

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of recent ED experience in a high-acuity setting
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications (ENPC and CPI preferred)
• Strong critical thinking, triage, and trauma/cardiac alert experience
• Ability to perform procedures such as IV insertion, medication administration, and emergency protocols

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience using Meditech documentation system
• Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred)
• Trauma and cardiac alert experience including care of STEMI, stroke, and sepsis patients
