Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee operations within a Long-Term Care (LTC) or Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards and company policies.
- Manage staffing, budgeting, and resource allocation to promote quality care and operational efficiency.
- Participate in state and federal survey processes, including preparation and implementing corrective action plans as needed.
- Lead and monitor electronic medical record (EMR) systems, including staff training, documentation, reporting, and audits.
- Ensure resident assessments, care plans, and interventions are completed timely and effectively, adhering to all relevant laws and regulations.
- Promote resident rights, dignity, and choices, while maintaining a safe environment free of neglect and abuse.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams, coordinate care conferences, and communicate effectively with residents and families.
- Monitor and evaluate care delivery, adjusting protocols to improve resident outcomes and satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- CPR/BLS certification.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior supervisory or management experience in a skilled nursing or LTC facility.
- Knowledge of state and federal regulations governing nursing homes.
- Experience with EMR systems and quality assurance processes.
