• Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week, contract

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for patients in a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit, including oncology patients receiving chemotherapy and symptom management.
• Monitor patients using B450 monitors and GE telemetry systems, ensuring continuous cardiac monitoring.
• Administer medications, manage IV therapies (including PICC line and central line care), and assist with procedures such as chest tube insertion/removal.
• Interpret dysrhythmias, manage arterial lines, and oversee blood product administration.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to implement infection prevention protocols and prevent patient falls.
• Document patient care accurately within the EMR system.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in a hospital setting.
• Valid RN license (compact or state) in Ohio at the time of submission.
• Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification.
• Epic EMR experience required.
• Ability to interpret dysrhythmias and manage vascular access devices.
• Strong understanding of patient safety protocols, infection control, and fall prevention.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous travel nursing experience.
• Oncology nursing experience.
• Experience with advanced cardiac monitoring and related equipment.
• Flexibility to float within units of similar or lower acuity.
