Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, night shifts, 3 shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
• Provide high-quality nursing care to medical-surgical patients, including stroke and specialty units.
• Float to various units as needed within scope of practice, ensuring patient safety and compliance.
• Administer medications, monitor patient conditions, and collaborate with healthcare teams.
• Maintain documentation and adhere to hospital policies and standards.
• Support emergency and specialty department requirements with appropriate certifications.
Required Qualifications
• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification.
• NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification.
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience working in medical-surgical and stroke units.
• Ability to float between units and adapt to different clinical settings.
• Knowledge of emergency department protocols and certifications such as TNCC, PALS, and ACLS.
