Schedule / Job Type:
Full-time, Night shift, 8-hour shifts, on-call position

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide hospice nursing care to patients in multiple counties in Kentucky, including Washington, Marion, Taylor, Green, and Adair.
• Work an alternating on-call schedule, guaranteeing 40 hours per week, regardless of actual hours worked.
• Respond to patient needs overnight, following a specified night shift schedule.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety, adhering to hospice care protocols.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate patient care plans.

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of hospice or relevant nursing experience.
• Valid BLS certification.
• Willingness to work on an on-call basis with guaranteed hours.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Experience working in hospice or palliative care settings.
• Ability to manage a flexible or block schedule.
• Kentucky nursing license or eligibility for license transfer.
